ZOO!

Because we aren't going anywhere on vacation this year, we decided to do things around here, some of which we have never done before! I am going to try to figure out how to post our "Summer Fun List!". Yesterday, we hit the zoo. It was a beautiful day and the kids loved it. I thought the manatee would be sweet girls favorite but she was not a fan! She much preferred the rattlesnake when it opened its scary mouth!! She even touched a baby alligator. Monkey's favorite was the lemur!

Cookout!

On Memorial Day, we had a few of monkey's friends and their families over for a picnic! The kids had a great time and the rain held off. They played on the slip n slide (which got a hole in it after about 1/2 hr :() , did bubbles and a water balloon fight!! Tons of fun.

OSU!!

We had a LONG but very fun day at OSU yesterday! Not gonna lie, never in a million years did we think they would make it past game 2, let alone win the whole thing!! Every team was guaranteed 2 games with one being in the shoe. Our first game was at 9 and the second not until 440! Luckily, the hotel was nice and let us check out late so we were able to rest/nap until 230. The games were delayed a bit b/c of rain but we got them all in. We finally left there at 950 last night and monkey played 4 games and loved every second of it!! He scored his first touchdown and pulled a ton of flags - woo hoo! I think think his favorite part was getting the black stuff under his eyes:)
